Emily Janowick (b. Murray, KY) received her BFA from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville
in 2012 and her MFA from Hunter College in New York in 2019. She has presented five solo
exhibitions in New York and Los Angeles at Richard and Dolly Maass Gallery (SUNY Purchase,
Purchase, NY), Parent Company (New York, NY), International Waters (Brooklyn, NY), and
Foyer-LA (Los Angeles, CA). Her work has also been featured in group exhibitions at venues
including Kate Werble Gallery, New York, NY (2025), Triangle Projects, Miami, FL (2023), and
Middle Part Gallery, Los Angeles, CA (2017). Janowick’s work has been reviewed in The New
York Times, Hyperallergic, Two Coats of Paint, Artnet News, and The Electric Pencil. She currently lives and works in Queens, NY.
